Wood Care

Strive to keep furniture shielded from daily exposure to direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can cause deterioration of the finish over time. Immediately clean spills or smudges of food or beverages with a soft, clean cloth by blotting to avoid scratches.  Frequently dust surfaces with a clean, soft cloth.  All dust is abrasive.  Never forcefully wipe off dust.  Be sure to dust furniture before using a furniture polish.  Only polish furniture with a non-silicon-based furniture polish made by a reputable manufacturer.  Avoid harsh chemicals as they may damage the finish.
